BOOKING & AVAILABILITY

How far in advance should we book a Chicago photo booth?

For Chicago peak-season weddings (May–October), 6–9 months ahead is ideal. For corporate events, 4–6 weeks is usually enough. Popular Saturday dates and downtown venues book first — the sooner you request a quote, the better your date odds.

What's your service area?

Chicago and 25+ surrounding suburbs — Naperville, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Oak Brook, Northbrook, Rosemont, Des Plaines, Skokie, Evanston, Deerfield, Winnetka, Aurora, Joliet, and beyond. No travel surcharge within the core Chicagoland zone.

Can we book same-week or last-minute?

Sometimes — it depends on availability. Send us your event details and we’ll confirm within a few hours whether we can cover your date. Events within 14 days get a same-day response.

PHOTO BOOTH TYPES & CUSTOMIZATION

How much space does a photo booth need?

360 booth: 10′ × 10′. Open-air booth: 8′ × 8′. Digital booth: 6′ × 6′. All need at least 8 feet of overhead clearance and one standard 110V outlet within 25 feet. We coordinate the footprint with your Chicago venue during booking.

What's the difference between a 360 and an open-air photo booth?

The 360 booth captures slow-motion video of guests on a rotating platform — great for shareable content. The open-air booth captures classic stills with studio lighting and printed 2×6 photo strips. Many Chicago clients book both for variety. See our booth comparison for the full side-by-side.

Can we customize the booth for our brand or event?

Yes. Every booking includes a custom photo overlay (logo, monogram, date, hashtag). Custom step-and-repeat backdrops and AR filters are available as add-ons — popular for Chicago corporate activations and themed parties.

SETUP & LOGISTICS

How much space does a photo booth need?

360 booth: 10′ × 10′. Open-air booth: 8′ × 8′. Digital booth: 6′ × 6′. All need at least 8 feet of overhead clearance and one standard 110V outlet within 25 feet. We coordinate the footprint with your Chicago venue during booking.

How long is setup and breakdown?

Setup is 60–90 minutes (depending on booth and backdrop). Breakdown is 45 minutes after the booking ends. We arrive early and coordinate directly with your venue’s operations team — no work for you.

Do you handle high-volume events (1,000+ guests)?

Yes — we recommend pairing two booths for large Chicago trade shows and weddings. Our open-air booth handles 80–120 sessions per hour; a two-booth setup keeps the line moving at 300+ guest events.

Can the booth go outdoors?

Yes, with a covered area (tent or pavilion), level ground, and a standard outlet within 25 feet. We don’t operate in active rain or below 50°F due to camera and printer specs.

CORPORATE & INSURANCE

Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?

Yes — we carry $2M general liability insurance and issue COIs naming your company and venue as additional insureds within 24 hours of contract signing. Required by most Chicago corporate venues; we handle it fast.

Do you accept Net-30 payment terms?

Net-30 is standard for established corporate clients with a signed MSA. Net-60 is available case-by-case for Fortune 1000 clients. Smaller bookings ($5K and under) require 50% deposit, 50% on completion.

How does lead capture integrate with our CRM?

Default delivery is a CSV export within 48 hours, formatted for Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo. For an additional fee, we can push leads via Zapier or a webhook in real-time during the event. See our corporate page for the full activation breakdown.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes — for confidential corporate events, we sign client NDAs as part of standard onboarding. We can also exclude your event from our portfolio and case studies on request.

WEDDING & EVENTS

Do you customize the photo template for our wedding?

Yes — every wedding booking includes a custom template designed around your palette, monogram or names, and date. We send a proof for approval 2 weeks before the wedding. Details on our wedding page.

Can we use the booth during cocktails AND reception?

Absolutely. Our Signature and Luxe wedding packages include “idle hour” coverage so the booth stays set up but paused between the ceremony and reception — no extra charge for the gap.

Yes — every booking includes a branded digital gallery delivered within 48 hours, where your guests can re-download, share, and tag. The gallery URL is yours to keep.

Do you do mitzvahs, quinceañeras, and school events?

Yes — we do bar/bat mitzvahs, quinceañeras (with bilingual attendants), school events like prom and graduation, and milestone birthdays. Each has its own tailored props, prints, and attendant standards.
